2. THANK YOU FOR THE PARTY OF THE YEAR!
The Roger Williams Park Casino was the setting on
June 12 for the celebration marking Kaleidoscope
Theatre's 30th anniversary and first fundraiser.
Kaleidoscope held the event to raise awareness and
financial support for B.U.L.L.Y. (which teachesyoung
children about conflict resolution); for research
and development for a new show on autism; and the
adaptation of B.U.L.L.Y. for high schools.
Mayor David
Cicilline and WPRI's Tony Petrarca served as
Honorary Co-Chairs, and Holly Shadoian
chaired the event. Charlie Hall, assisted by
Petrarca, conducted the live portion of the auction,
which included Red Sox tickets and a performance of
B.U.L.L.Y. to the school of the bidder's choice.
Nearly 150 guests enjoyed kaleidoscope favors and
the showcase performance of Kaleidoscope songs to
honor the work of Executive Director David Payton.
The event raised $14,000! Thank you so much to
everyone who helped make this event a spectacular
success!

4. WELCOME ABOARD, JAMIE!
Kaleidoscope Theatre is very happy to announce that
Jamie Dellorco (who can be seen onstage this summer
as Snow White in "Snow White" and as Jack's Mom in
"Jack & the Beanstalk") is joining Kaleidoscope's
full time staff for the summer. She will be serving
as Summer Coordinator and will be assisting in tour
preparation and public/press relations. Jamie has
been performing with Kaleidoscope since the summer
of 2005. During the school year, Jamie works for

5. BREAK A LEG, TOMMY!
Tommy Iafrate (Kaleidoscope Theatre's Artistic
Director) recently got the opportunity to become the
music director for South County's Courthouse Centre
for the Performing Arts. The Courthouse has a full
season of shows planned for 2008 that Tommy will be
involved in; including: "The Full Monty",
"Footloose", "Sleeping Beauty", "The Rocky Horror
Show", and "Cabaret". Tommy will continue to stay
involved at Kaleidoscope as much as his schedule
allows and will continue to teach music and
harmonies to our performers. We are all very excited
for Tommy and hope this exciting opportunity opens
even more doors for him in the future.
